Cytopeia has taken great care addressing both operator safety and the integrity of sorted samples. inFlux offers a fully enclosed sort space that is easy to clean and comes equipped with germicidal UV-light for bio-decontamination.

The inFlux system makes use of a patented nozzle assembly wherein the nozzle and all attached wetted parts can be exchanged in a matter of minutes. Sample carryover is eliminated, a concern for PCR procedures and other experiments with a low cross contamination tolerance, so that these procedures can be performed with confidence.

Various forms of secondary containment are also available ranging from a simple “dust hood” to full encapsulation. For procedures requiring a high level of containment, a HEPA-filtered enclosure can be fitted to the system as shown below.
